Life Care Planning
A Life Care Plan can provide anticipated medical and non-medical care needs and costs throughout an injured individuals life span.
A Life Care Plan is an important evaluation when an individual's injury is so severe that they will impact the person's ability to perform their activities of daily living.
A Life Care Plan is unique and is specific to the individual who is injured. Not all Life Care Plans are the same. As a Nurse Life Care Planner, I use critical thinking based on the nursing process to develop a Life Care Plan based on review of medical records, collaboration with treatment teams, as well as identify potential complications.
